Media Filtration Plants

Sand Filtration

Sand acts as a coarse natural filter and provides a level of purification that removes mud, silt and larger debris. Sand filters are one of the most popular ways to filter water for good reasons they are simple, effective and require very little clean. Water is  routed through a sand filled pressure vessel, over  dirt accumulates in the  spaces between the sand particle causing the pressure in the vessel to rise as water finds it harder to passthrough.

Carbon Filtration

Activated carbon is widely used in water filtration systems. Carbon is very effective at improving taste, removing chlorine and many other contaminants. Since organic chemicals are often responsible for taste, odor, and color problems, AC filtration generally be used to improve aesthetically objectionenable water.

Iron Removing Filtration

One of the most common contaminants of well and even municipal water system is iron contamination can be found in
two general forms, ferric iron which consists of particles of solid iron (rust) that can be removed by
mechanical water filter(sediments)and ferrous or dissolved iron which must be removed from water by special
iron removals.

Cartridge Filtration

Cartridge filtration units generally operate most effectively and economically on applications having contaminations of solid particles. It eliminates the need for backwashing and requires less maintenance.

Birm Filtration

Birm Filter is an efficient and economical media for the reduce dissolved iron and manganese compounds from raw water supplies. It may be used in either gravity fed or pressurized water treatment systems. Birm acts as an insoluble catalyst to enhance the reaction between dissolved oxygen and the iron compounds.

Ultra Filtration

Ultra filtration systems remove a variety of contaminants from drinking water including sediments, particles and cysts. It is also being used effectively as pretreatment to RO systems especially on surface water feed and sea water/brackish water systems.

Water Softening Plant

Calcium and magnesium are hard scale forming minerals that build up on piping, heat exchangers, water heaters, boilers, and steam equipment. This build up results in costly repairs, increased energy consumption , plugged heat exchangers and boiler tubes. Also, hardness greatly reduces the service life of lines, clothing, appliances, and plumbing fixtures. Line exchange and softening is an old and proven process to tackle this issue on applications s suited for this process.

De-alkalanization Plant

De-alkalizers are most often used as pre -treatment to a boiler and are usually preceded by a water softener. Alkalinity is a factor that most often indicates the amount of boiler blow down. High alkalinity promotes boiler foaming and carry over and causes high amounts of boiler blowoff. When alkalinity is the limit factor affecting the amount of blowdown, a de-alkalizer will increase the cycles of concentration and reduce blowdown and operating cost.

Demineralizaton Plants

Degasification Plant

The basic principle of degasification is to force a column of air up -flow over a thin film or small drops of down -flow water. This procedure oxidizes iron and manganese; allow gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and hydrogen sulfide to escape and to let volatile substances such as phenol vaporize into the air. We provide custom water degasification systems that integrate with current water treatment solutions or are a part of an entirely new water treatment system. Water degasification can be used in many applications such as pharmaceuticals, boiler feed water treatment, steam generation medical water, lab water, or any high purity water application.
